I’m Valentina Rentsch, and I’ve been creating art for several years now. I switched from being a sole art admirer to an art creator because I knew I could make pieces for other people to love. You’ll find it hard to put my art into a niche. I make acrylic paintings - mostly abstract ones - , mixed media and water colour pieces, next to objects.

Inspired by trips to North-America, Australia, New Zealand and various other countries, my art incorporates images and ideas which might stir similar memories in you, too.

Sometimes a completely unrelated idea pops into my head or I see something I want to include in my art. Take that piece of a popcorn bag that made it into a large painting about New York City. Or look at the church window in a Chagallesque-way only that it’s not made of glass but an acrylic painting. Once, cracking pistachios made me spiral down and the only way to come up again, was making a spiral painting out of the nut shells.
